St. Felim’s N.S has two special classes for children with Autism. These classes are known as the Butterfly Room and the Rainbow Room. The Department of Education provides for summer tuition which is either school based or home based, or a combination of both. The school tuition in the summer is known as July Provision. Under this scheme schools may remain open for up to four additional weeks to provide continuing education in these classes. St. Felim’s offer July Provision for a two week period. During this time pupils enjoy a series of outings and also school based classes. Parents will be consulted early in the year to establish their interest in July Provision.
