St. Felim’s has two classes to support children with Autism, the Butterfly Room and the Rainbow Room. Each class has six children, one teacher and two Special Needs Assistants (SNAs). In 2015 a new state of the art building was completed consisting of two classrooms, toilet facilities, a General Purpose Room, Sensory Room, Kitchen and Office.The building is enhanced by a beautiful sensory garden. The building was officially opened at the end of April 2016. Children enrolled in the Butterfly and Rainbow Room are aligned to their age appropriate class in mainstream and join their classes on a regular basis.
