Flightradar 24 app for smartphone. This is a free app to dowload to phone. You can see the origin and destination of flights overhead and also globally. It is an excellent Geography resource as you could then locate the places on a map. It shows the departute time and arrival time and this could be used to calculate flight length. If you are out walking or outside your house you can point the phone up towards any airplane you see overhead and press AR and it will bring up the flight data. This is a great little app and fun to use.
