The Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment were drawn up in March 2018 and both were reviewed by the BOM at their meeting on Jan. 22nd 2019. I would like to welcome you to our website.
St Felim’s National School, Ballinagh is a co-educational Catholic school situated in the town of Ballinagh, Co Cavan. A total of two hundred and thirty-one pupils attend. The school includes two classes for children with Autism, the Butterfly Room and the Rainbow Room. There are two special class teachers, two full-time special education teachers, two shared special education visiting teachers and nine mainstream classes.
This website provides an opportunity for our school community to access information about events happening in the school. It gives an overview of the excellent work carried out by our professional and dedicated staff together with our talented and committed pupils.
We work in partnership with parents to ensure that the children are happy and that they achieve to the best of their abilities. We try to provide them with every possible opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, spiritually and academically. This is reflected in these pages. By browsing through them you will get a flavour of the many vibrant activities which take place in the school on a daily basis.
